Vaccine fears have plunged to a record low in a strong sign of support for the national plan to ease lockdowns, with only 9 per cent of Australians objecting to the jabs compared to 29 per cent in the early phase of the rollout | CroweDM

Vaccine fears have plunged to a record low in a strong sign of support for the national plan to ease lockdowns, with only 9 per cent of Australians objecting to the jabs compared to 29 per cent in the early phase of the rollout.

This means 65 per cent of respondents want to ease the curbs at or before the 80 per cent goal is reached. The survey shows there is a growing acceptance that the country will not return to zero coronavirus cases, with 62 per cent of voters agreeing with this proposition compared to 54 per cent one month ago.

While debate has centred on the national rate, the question in the Resolve survey focused on each region, asking: “At what rate of vaccination do you believe that your state or territory should ease restrictions?” There is 43 per cent support in Victoria for easing the curbs at or before the vaccination rate reaches 70 per cent. This grows to a strong majority, 75 per cent, for opening at or before the benchmark of 80 per cent.

There were regional differences when voters were asked if they thought it was possible to suppress COVID-19 to zero cases. While 66 per cent of NSW respondents and 65 per cent of Victorian respondents said it was not, only 51 per cent of Queensland respondents said the same.

CroweDM but some are being forced to take the az over Pfizer

CroweDM Utter nonsense

CroweDM It was never vaccine ‘fear’ it was availability and still is! Certain age groups couldn’t get ANY vaccine until recently

CroweDM Thank god someone is leading this country in common sense. Well done NSW

CroweDM 👮‍♀️Israel failed with 2 jabs! Started so called 3rd and 4th booster jabs. Africa is doing better as they are taking artemisinin. India and Japan started Ivermectin! Who is collecting money from the vax ? Vax is positive related with infection! Time to have alternate treatments!

CroweDM So if 90% of people want to be immunised and Australia opens up at 80%, then possibly a few people will die without having had the chance to be vaccinated.

CroweDM Hesitancy, or lack of availability SMH? Are you being dishonest again ? auspol 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🥵🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

CroweDM Nice article. Full of lies. People were forced to get it.

CroweDM It was never hesitancy. It was vaccine shopping. And when there is an objectively better vaccine for the same price (Pfizer) then of course everyone wanted it. When people stoped comparing vaccine with vaccine and compares vaccine with Covid things changed. auspol

CroweDM Hesitancy hasn’t been a problem, access has been. The federal government didn’t order enough, due to this we’re still struggling today with supply for appointments. 🤷🏼‍♀️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

CroweDM There's always a role for superstition and ignorance in society, however.

CroweDM The DunningKruger few

CroweDM It’s a ‘wants’ survey. Many people WANT things to be like they were pre-covid. So they’re prepared to believe this nirvana is available by vaccinating 80% of adult population (=64% of total pop). It isn’t. Did Resolve ask if we want to be like UK, now at 67% total pop vaxed?

CroweDM Survey said:

CroweDM Get the jab so we all Australia can reopen and return to normalcy. If one wants real freedom be healthy have jab if you want to die and have no freedom and one of those bloody unvaccinated whingers then don’t get jab. Vaccination is key! don’t be fool get jab enjoy life

CroweDM It’s not because people trust the vaccines. It’s because they want freedom. 😹
