It's understood the husband was injured while pulling his wife to safety when the flames ignited around 12.30pm today. Witnesses told 9News a 50 year-old woman volunteering behind the barbecue fainted, falling and knocking the gas bottle over causing it to catch alight.He said the flames were "reasonably big".The woman was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious burns to her face.The gazebo was completely destroyed and the snags on the barbecue were charred.
In a statement, Bunnings said staff and a customer acted quickly to contain the fire, using nearby extinguishers to contain the fire.This $35 million-plus property is already being called one of the most iconic yet, and it doesn't even have a house on it.
