Has any living object ever survived in the Jupiter system? Is it a possibility? The European Space Agency is hoping to answer these questions and more using its Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer satellite.

The European Space Agency's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer will study Jupiter and three of its moonsIt is scheduled to launch in April and will reach Jupiter in July 2031

These are among the questions the European Space Agency is hoping to answer with its Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer satellite. The ESA project team behind JUICE held a major review this week, concluding the mission was "go for launch".Everything is now fully assembled, including JUICE's suite of 10 scientific instruments.
