RHIANA WHITSON, REPORTER: The eyes of political pundits are on the federal seat of Dunkley, southeast of Melbourne.VOX POP: I mean, you're sort of worried about what the future is going to be like.

ANTONY GREEN, ABC ELECTION ANALYST: Dunkley is a by-election in a government seat. It's a seat, which despite its 6 per cent margin, would normally be more marginal. NATHAN CONROY: Mortgage relief right now, interest rate reduction right now, cost of living relief right now is what people need. From the more affluent voters of Mt Eliza, to the traditionally more working-class people of Frankston, and families in the newer housing estates of Langwarrin and Carrum Downs.ANTHONY ALBANESE, PRIME MINISTER : We are giving a tax cut to some 13.6 million Australian taxpayers.

But if the unpleasant experience of this billboard truck driver is anything to go by, Advance’s message isn't being well received by all. NATHAN CONROY: This sort of development is vital for Frankston city. I'm proud to be leading a city that has created the blueprint, the framework for a revitalised community.
