Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the country has an "Australia-first" policy and will prioritise getting Australians who are stranded overseas home and review caps on international arrivals on a weekly basis.

Victoria is not due to starting accepting international arrivals again until the state's hotel quarantine inquiry delivers its final report. Mr Morrison said the challenges in getting Australians home means the country is unable to welcome back international students."The challenges we have in getting Australians home means the ability to move and take international students back at this time through quarantine arrangements does not present itself.
