New jury trials in South Australia are suspended pending medical advice about the effects of coronavirus, while public transport will be cleaned daily to prevent infections.

Following the Federal Government's announcement that all people arriving in Australia, including citizens, must self-isolate for a fortnight, SA Health said it would provide free accommodation for backpackers as they would not be able to self-isolate at hostels.

The South Australian Public Transport Authority has increased cleaning schedules across all public transport modes and is using disinfectant products recommended under national health guidelines.All buses will be cleaned daily.
