The allegations of poor quality food served at Flinders Medical Centre came after its catering contract changed hands at the beginning of this month.Complaints have been made about the food at a major Adelaide hospital.

"Some of this is vomitous, it's disgusting, it's putrid, and clearly there's an issue here," he said. A photo of chicken soup served to patients was obtained by 9News, and one person said they thought it looked like an apple strudel."People are getting food that is nowhere near the quality we would expect."
