A new weather system has put most of the state’s east coast under another severe weather warning | sarah_keoghan

Commuters are being warned to avoid public transport in Sydney “unless it is absolutely necessary” on Monday as a new weather system looks set to bring heavy rainfall and thunderstorms to the majority of eastern NSW.

“Unprecedented rainfall is impacting the rail network and forcing some trains to run at much lower speeds,” a statement from Transport NSW read. The bureau explained the rainfall comes as a result of an upper low over northern NSW which will slowly move south across Monday and Tuesday.

Major difference with Sydney and MelbournePresenter Georgie Tunny recently moved from the Victorian capital to the Harbour City. And there’s one glaring difference she’s noticed between the two cities. Sydney is better than Melbourne in every way I know Melbournites are proud people so I don't wish to knock the place, BUT the mind set of Sydneysiders is so much easier and lighter, I won't say why because I don't wish to spend the day trying to explain. In short good to hear your comments.
