Ballarat residents say they want closure for the family of missing woman Samantha Murphy who was last seen leaving her home on February 4.The Ballarat community has been left "devastated" after a fresh search for missing mother-of-three Samantha Murphy failed to located her body.
Officers drove vehicles through bush paths, stopping at several locations to conduct searches on Wednesday, while the dog squad scoured areas off the track and police on dirt bikes looked through rugged terrain.A Victoria Police spokesperson said there was no search activity planned for Thursday but they expect to continue searching during coming weeks.
Authorities have previously searched parts of the Buninyong area as well as other locations closer to Ballarat.
