BREAKING: Commonwealth Bank customers are currently stranded without being able to complete transactions, affecting payments in the CommBank app, Netbank, cardless cash transactions and some in-branch services. 9News

Several customers complained that the outage meant they were unable to pay for critical items such a groceries or fuel.

"Currently sitting at Woolworths with countless other CommBank victims," one Facebook user reported. "We all look so impressed." "I am here to cash out from an ATM and my card got locked up in the machine. It's been 30 minutes," wrote another. "I went to transfer funds at the counter in Coles and it didn't work, so I had to do the walk of shame outside," reported a third.

Technology tracking company downdetector.com.au noted complaints about CBA's online banking system in every major Australian capital city."We're very sorry for this," CommBank said on its outage page.Continue reading
