Comanchero bikie member arrested in Adelaide following alleged assault on 'good Samaritan'

Police allege a man was seriously assaulted when he tried to intervene in an altercation on SundayThe victim remains in a critical condition in the Royal Adelaide Hospital

SA Police said officers had arrested Danny Rapley at a Kilburn address about 11:30am on Tuesday, without incident. Police yesterday alleged the man had assaulted an "innocent bystander" who tried to intervene in a dispute between him and a womanPolice said the member of the public was allegedly assaulted before the man left the scene on a blue Suzuki motorbike with the woman.

The victim, a 49-year-old Paralowie man, was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.Police said the parties were not known to each other.The arrested man is expected to be charged later today.
