Collingwood star Jordan De Goey is set to front the Melbourne Magistrates' Court after allegedly being caught driving while suspended and using his phone behind the wheel.De Goey was due to face the Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow where he would be charged on summons, but the matter is likely to be adjourned after non-urgent matters were adjourned under coronavirus measures.

The Collingwood Football Club declined to comment, saying the matter would be dealt with by the courts.His latest legal trouble comes after he was indefinitely suspended from senior selection and fined $10,000 by Collingwood after blowing 0.095 during a random breath test in 2018As a result of the incident, De Goey had to agree not to drink alcohol until that year's season ended, enlist the help of medical professionals to "improve his decision making" and make "significant changes" to his social life.
