The Coalition is set to pledge $100 million for clinical trials in the nation's rural and regional areas, as the election campaign resumes after a brief Good Friday truce.

The funding boost will focus on getting the care residents require, without needing to travel to a big city for treatment. With some of the most marginal seats held by the Nationals in New South Wales and Queensland, the health funding plan hopes to protect those seats ahead of the May 18 vote. Watergate?

has the election campaign started at all? My DVD collection is still ging strong and if it runs out I will buy a VCR player for the tapes. I can see why you telly stations are putting so much shit on -whats the point? No one watches anything because of the election

Are you Coalition fluffers *ever* going to report on watergate ?

Shouldn't hurt the budget bottom line if ScottMorrisonMP can get a cut from AngusTaylorMP 's CaymanIslands stash! Will the trials include free drinks from Watergate resources or has all that evaporated along with the $80mil Barnaby_Joyce made disappear? auspol AUSVote2019

Bupa overcharged thousands of aged care residents for extra servicesThe ACCC has started federal court proceedings against Bupa after it charged thousands of aged care residents up to $100 a day for services it did not fully provide. It is all very well to fine them but do the people who were fleeced get a refund with interest and any other out of pocket expenses; like fines on the banks .. do the fleeced customers see a cent of that? Mmm not surprised Pretty sure you gotta declare allegedly. SMH is not the justice system. They probably did but let them forward a defence before you declare them guilty
