Coalition MPs tell Andrews to stop 'blaming everyone else' | michaelfowler08

Three Coalition MPs from the committee scrutinising Victoria's response to the COVID-19 pandemic have accused the Andrews government of refusing to accept responsibility for its failures, calling the state's hotel quarantine program "an absolute disaster".

Daniel Andrews' government was urged to"show real leadership by taking responsibility for its failures".The MPs also took aim at how the inquiry by Parliament's public accounts and estimates committee was conducted in May, lambasting the "partisan temptations" that they believe caused questioning to be too lenient.

While the committee report was not particularly scathing of the state government, the three Coalition MPs pointed to an outbreak at the Cedar Meats abattoir in Melbourne's west, which spread to 111 people, as evidence of failures on contact tracing and communication. They also suggested Premier Daniel Andrews should deploy Australian Defence Force personnel, rather than Corrections Victoria staff, to manage the state's hotel quarantine program when it returns to normal. The Coalition MPs said the committee report was not a "full and frank assessment" of the Andrews government's response to the pandemic.

michaelfowler08 Fuck the Sydney Morning Herald. Dan Andrews will be voted back in. You will not depose him.

michaelfowler08 Pot, kettle, black?

michaelfowler08 Fantastic. Great Move. Well Done Angus!

michaelfowler08 Why is the defeat of this man more important to the Coalition than the defeat of COVID-19? Auspol

michaelfowler08 It's a pity that Tim Smith and Bernie Finn are undermining Vic Libs credibility so much. Just can't take them seriously. They're spewing bile and throwing mud and hoping that some of it sticks.

michaelfowler08 They’re all lowlife grubs. I wouldn’t take any notice. Bernie Finn needs a square on here.

michaelfowler08 Seriously? Andrews is shouldering ALL of the responsibility and attempting to save lives. LiberalVictoria are playing political games, undermining safety measures, and hindering the saving of lives. They need to be locked up for the duration as public health dangers. auspol

michaelfowler08 Meanwhile, everyone else tells the coalition to STOP being THE PROBLEM and start being part of the solution! LNPCrimeFamily LNPFail COVIDIOT

michaelfowler08 Why would you even print such a stupid lie? Andrews is on the record, (live tv, ffs), as accepting full responsibility.

michaelfowler08 Well done Twitter for your reaction to this cheap shot.

michaelfowler08 'Only the coalition MPs put their names to the minority report' Is that because it's bullshit?

michaelfowler08 The fact that only the 3 coalition MPs signed the report speaks volumes.

michaelfowler08 I'm telling Coalition MPs to stop blaming everyone else as if they'd do better if they were in charge.

michaelfowler08 From the article the enquiring Committee report 'is not particularly scathing' of the state performance but 3 Liberal Party members of the 10 on the commitee wrote their own little report cos they couldn't get their way 🤔 heading does not reflect the pertinent report.

michaelfowler08 More Bullshit from a crap paper owned by the murdochvirus group. 🙄

michaelfowler08 Just give it a rest Dudes and get on with being a part of the solution! This sort of cheap point scoring makes you look pathetic. You would actually get better publicity being positive. But all you can do is carp! The whole country is sick of it!

michaelfowler08 Dear COALition

michaelfowler08 The best thing coalition MPs could do is offer their cure for covid-19 or STFU.

michaelfowler08 What sort of shitfuckery is this from the toxic LNP They've done nothing but bleat whine undermine & carry on like plonking plods since day one I hope Victorians give them a swift & painful kick up the backside at next election NevertrustLNP LNPRortsInc LNPBitchBlathering

michaelfowler08 Blame the Chinese for this virus. auspol Australia MikeCarlton01 Mike_Pence ScottMorrisonMP

michaelfowler08 haters going to hate. seriously, i dont blame Dan, i do blame those individuals, who were supposed to be at home, but were not at doorknock yeasterday, 800+, seriously, if they cannot be responsible, lock them up! come Dan.

michaelfowler08 Get him out.

michaelfowler08 Well perhaps they could stop carping and be constructive that would be helpful

michaelfowler08 Doona Dan should blame himself for opening doors for security guards to root covid infected guests at the quarantine hotel.

michaelfowler08 In news today Pot calls kettle black!

michaelfowler08 Coalition MP’s have serious integrity issues

michaelfowler08 WHY does this article smell like IPA?

michaelfowler08 Coalition MPs have short memories. They were screaming to open up earlier & the Federal LNP created the cock up in aged care by privatising the industry & casualising the workforce

michaelfowler08 Pots calling kettle black

michaelfowler08 I am pretty sure there is a video of Andrews saying I take full accountability for this a few weeks ago, then when the enhanced restrictions were brought in and people weren't home, that then is the responsibility of the individual so the blame is on that person not home

michaelfowler08 WTF. Andrews has always said the buck stops with him. Vic Liberals are a special bread of nasty little Trumpies

michaelfowler08 Of course they would. Because it would’ve been sunshine & roses if they were making the decisions - like Ruby Princess in NSW, responsible for the huge number of cases and deaths first time around. Where was the call for Gladys & Dutton to be held to account?

michaelfowler08 Headline needs fixing: Coalition MPs should stop 'blaming everyone else' There, fixed.

michaelfowler08 As if we take any notice of coalition mp,s when they have contributed to it by their propaganda blitz & undermining everything trying to be done to stop spread.

michaelfowler08 The coalition have contributed to the crisis.

michaelfowler08 I'm sick of hearing from Coalition MPs who do nothing but make things worse. Over them

michaelfowler08 bipartisanship ? let's be political !

michaelfowler08 He has said the buck stops with him and isn’t blaming everyone else, but the coalition have to make themselves relevant so....

michaelfowler08 Coalition MPs could do us all a favour by denouncing the utter dangerous piffle spouted by their colleagues such as Craig Kelly if they want to contribute finally to the well-being of the Commonwealth.

michaelfowler08 It’s about time someone holds him to account, god knows it won’t come from the media!

michaelfowler08 Australians tell the Sydney Morning Herald to go fu*k itself.....

michaelfowler08 Only people would support Dan the man nowadays, secure state government workers (job security), people like to be on dole and don’t want to work

michaelfowler08

michaelfowler08 Totally agree, we are in this situation because of the messed up hotel quarantine and 18th century contact tracing

michaelfowler08

michaelfowler08 Could can get some advice from poor countries on public health prevention practices, where myths and political bs work to undermine them and hold destructive socially divisive far right-wing politics to account in a democracy

michaelfowler08 When will journalists stop repeating idiotic lies in headlines It just gives megaphones to fools. Headline should read 'coalition MPs make baseless claim in destructive attempt to politicise pandemic:' it isnt hard to be professional FFS

michaelfowler08 Murdoch crap again, where the positive story on the great job he is doing. IStandWithDan

michaelfowler08 I'm pretty sure he is on record saying that 'the buck stops with him'. Unlike some LNP leaders e.g. GladysB and PeterDutton_MP and the Ruby Princess debacle.

michaelfowler08 Just imagine how much worse it would have been if no action was taken? 1000s more cases and deaths.

michaelfowler08 And exactly who has he blamed? He has EXPLAINED the reasons behind acceleration in community transmission. You're not the paper you once were 😕 COVID19 IStandWithDan trashnews

michaelfowler08 So channel 9 just cut & pastes A Current Affair stories to SMH now...

michaelfowler08 This is no time for blaming. This is a time for sucking it up and dealing with it.

michaelfowler08 Spin it as much as you like it WAS Dans Stuff ups that caused this Crises today

michaelfowler08 Really, you’re just another cheer squad for the coalition.

michaelfowler08 FO

michaelfowler08

michaelfowler08 “Coalition MPs struggling for relevance” would’ve been a better headline

michaelfowler08 Umm. Yes he is definitely to blame, partially at least. He introduced the rules and didn’t have the management team in place to enforce. FFs, the quarrentine was a joke. Get what you pay for.

michaelfowler08 What sort of TRASH are you putting out each day and calling it a newspaper.

michaelfowler08 Seriously, what's with this whole 'bash Daniel Andrews' thing? Do they really think the situation would be any different at all if they were in charge?

michaelfowler08 The buck stops with the Federal Government when it comes to Aged Care.
