abc.net.au/news/helicopter-crash-in-the-wheatbelt-claims-lives-of-two-men/101495580Two men have died in a helicopter crash in Western Australia's Wheatbelt while taking part in a club event.A search was launched when they failed to return on timePolice said the men, believed to be in their 50s and 70s, departed Koorda on Sunday along with ten planes as part of a weekend event.

"Over the coming days, ATSB investigators will survey and map the accident site and collect any relevant components for further examination and analysis at the ATSB's technical facilities in Canberra," Chief Commissioner Angus Mitchell said in a statement. "Should any critical safety issues be identified at any stage during the course of the investigation, the ATSB will immediately notify relevant parties so appropriate safety action can be taken."
