More than a decade after announcing his plans to build a replica of the world's most infamous cruise ship, Clive Palmer has unveiled the design of the Titanic II.

It will have all the same interior and cabin designs as its 20th-century predecessor but with vastly improved safety features.Billionaire Clive Palmer is finalising the design of his Titanic II cruise ship.

The vessel will be 269 metres long by 32 metres wide – the same length as the original but slightly wider. The new ship's design will include nine decks, 835 cabins , and an exact replica of the original vessel's bridge.There will be 835 cabins on board the Titanic II - enough for 2435 passengers. It will cater for 2435 passengers, and follow the Titanic's original planned journey from Southampton to New York, although it will also circumnavigate the globe.
