Sky News host Andrew Bolt says what is unfolding in Victoria is a major scandal and represents catastrophic failures from the government in dealing with the virus.

“Victoria was today virtually shut down to fight the coronavirus,” Mr Bolt said. Premier Andrews has detailed the lengths of the stage four lockdowns which will turn metropolitan Melbourne into a ghost town for at least six weeks in a desperate bid to slow the spread of the killer coronavirus. Mr Andrews ordered all non-essential workers not to leave their homes from Thursday but promised people they will not need to bulk buy food as supermarkets, grocery stores and pharmacies would stay open.

The stinging is turning quite painful now for the soy-cialist snowflakes, who realise the Vic disaster architect, Wuhan Dan, is a deadmanwalking

OK so it was initially an over-reaction but now it wasn't enough? 0 formal qualifications.

DanielAndrewsMP should have been stood down during the investigation. It’s clear the hotel quarantine process is riddled with gross incompetence. Why is he still on the podium?

2. .... against 'Corona Virus 19'. In particular, if you commit such an offense for the power or money of an individual, such as a presidential election, I will brutally punish.

1. The symptoms of 'corona virus 19' are many. This means that there are many mutations in 'Corona Virus 19'. It is also ongoing. If you send nonsense news to people right now, you'll see the terrible worst results immediately. People will be not nervous and will be defenseless

The virus is spread by people in close contact with others or by touching contaminated surfaces then our faces. A minority of idiots have not followed the public health orders and good advice. Now everyone has to pay for their stupidity. Covid kills people, jobs and the economy

Bolt is politically themed entertainment filler sandwiched between advertising content sold by Sky.

Isn't a death a life ruined? Unchristian unethical viewpoint. Any church leaders agree with this?

And who cares what Bolt says?

Excellent , called as is. Andrews govt is an epic failure.

Sorry to inform you guys but no one listens to Herr Bolt any more.

These lockdown stages were planned with initial forecasts of up to 150,000 deaths, why are we doing this to ourselves?

Absolutely 100%. Accountability is next and those clowns that call themselves medical experts on the governments payroll step down- incompetent, pathetic, evil.

Thanks from UK you are almost a lone voice of informed common sense and reason in an insane world at the moment.

We can expect Mr Bolt to excoriate Trump, Johnson, Bolsonaro, Dutton, Lincoln (of Border Force) etc with equal gusto for their abject (arguably deliberate) failures to contain COVID in their respective countries, right?

Take some responsibility Victorians. You left your homes in lock down to protest bs and. Ow you’re paying for itnoSympathy

Human spirit is undefeatable from the flames to the pungent air we will raise and we will prosper

Yes. I agree. Just like george pell and the Catholic Church. Unforgivable.

The same Andrew Bolt who wanted to ease restrictions to save the economy? That was in April , BTW. More unhelpful and misguided commentary.

Sky 'News' hurled SIX flaming oPiNiOnS at Victoria while she's down in the last hour, every single one of them attacking our Premier. What is afoot?🧐😵Are there new pandemic laws coming to stop angry privileged people shouting from Sky or something? IStandWithDan IStandWithVIC

And this coming from a sky news host who has the medical qualifications of a blow fly

This is a scandal

Sick bastard.

Mr Daniel Andrews & Dr Brett Sutton have blood on their hands. Who the fark keeps the suicide statistics? Please release them to the public. The Opposition MUST emphatically farking scream at the government when parliament resumes.

'HEARTBREAKING SHUTDOWN': Melbourne businesses face mass closures on Thursday | Sky News AustraliaPremier Daniel Andrews has detailed the “heartbreaking” lengths of his stage four lockdowns which will turn metropolitan Melbourne into a ghost town for at least six weeks in a desperate bid to slow the spread of the killer coronavirus.\n\nMr Andrews ordered all non-essential workers not to leave their homes from Thursday but promised people they will not need to bulk buy food as supermarkets, grocery stores and pharmacies would stay open.\n\n“As heartbreaking as it is to close down places of employment, while I never thought that I would be telling people not to go to work, that is what we have to do in order to stop the spread of this wildly infectious virus, this deadly virus,” he said.\n\n“Supermarkets, grocery stores, bottle shops, pharmacies, petrol stations, banks, news agencies, post offices, plus of course everybody involved in our frontline response, our comprehensive response to this pandemic.
