Liberal Senator Eric Abetz says one of the reasons China is open to relations with the Taliban is for the “vastly unexploited” resources in Afghanistan.

“Afghanistan is surprisingly very rich in resource; be it oil, gas , copper, lithium, thorium – the list goes on – largely unexploited,” Mr Abetz said.

“And therefore I daresay China sees this as potential opportunity to exploit those resources and give the Taliban some money especially in circumstances when the International Monetary Fund has now cut off funding for Afghanistan given the change in regime.”

The greedy human parasites will do business with anyone for a profit!!

Exactly right, and Biden handed it over to them. Biden withdrawal was as incompetent as it gets. Abandoned strategic airport first. Allowed advanced weaponry & planes to fall into Taliban hands, then removed military before civilians. Impeach Biden! Terminate Milley & Austin!

That’s why the US was there.

Pretty odious stuff. If Australia had UK style level of vaccine rollouts (77% of eligible adult pop'n in the UK) AND we were relatively open, we could be having UK level of cases per day (UK: 26,000 cases per day). Vaccine rollouts ALONE do not prevent COVID-19 from spreading It's a about you love
