Why Australia has not test kits?prioritizing
Flying out tomorrow night
Cant see the point in wasting so much $ and resources on testing anymore in major covid areas it only makes people more at risk of catching, The $ and resources should be on treatment and medical equipment and supplies to fight the virus and preparations for more cases. Imo only
I hope they are buying the testing kits from america
The ABC should just move to china.
100,000 people here need testing and we are already telling them to go home.
impressive testing capacity in view of large dense population
An example of how to combat covid effectively preventing unnecessary deaths and hospitalisations. Many of those testing are volunteers. One doctor at a leading hospital told me that it would take 20 years for Australia to get to China's level. And yet, we are far wealthier 🙄
Glaven1994 For those that wonder how China does such large testing. They combine whole city blocks into a single test run. If it comes back positive the entire block is moved to a quarantine facility and tested individually. If the block test is negative they aren't run separately.
With chinese made tests that don’t work
It’s probably a lie considering that country
Meanwhile the state of Tasmania can't handle testing a fraction of the island's population of about 550,000.
Ahem? ScottMorrisonMP Dom_Perrottet?
It's depressing whenever China does something well, do people realise a country can work together to do good things without being authoritarian? Or maybe I'm an idiot and a country can't do anything well without being authoritarian
