China has announced it will be retaliating to US President Donald Trump hiking duties by increasing tariffs on AUD $86 billion of US goods.

China's Finance Ministry says Beijing will increase tariffs to 25 per cent from June 1.

The US raised duties from 10 to 25 per cent on AUD $286 billion of Chinese goods after two days of trade talks between the nations ended without a deal. President Trump and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, are expected to meet at the G20 summit in Japan in June. Source: Fox
