Police have charged two men over a vaccination clinic protest, part of which unfolded in front of a group of schoolchildren at a shopping centre in Joondalup.Some have been held at vaccination clinics in PerthVision posted on social media shows the students lining up for their COVID jab about 9:40am on Tuesday.It is alleged one of the protesters made his way inside the clinic before shouting at those being vaccinated.
"It will be alleged he entered a vaccination centre located within the shopping centre, passing through the line with a group of schoolchildren," police said in a statement. "Once inside, he shouted anti-vaccination messages to those present and had to be physically removed." The 52-year-old man from Beaconsfield has been charged with trespass and disorderly behaviour in a public place.Police said he was one of two people issued a move-on order that day. The second person was a 38-year-old woman.Police have also charged a second man, a 64-year-old from Duncraig, who is alleged to have arrived at the protest later that day.
