say the people arrested after the chase were wanted in relation to an incident when they allege a 37-year-old man fell from a sixth-floor balcony onto the first-floor balcony of the Turbot Street unit complex in Brisbane, about 5am on December 5.
The police chase unfolded just after 8pm in front of shocked drivers on Friday evening, who reported hearing weapons fire – possibly tasers. The woman filming the incident can be heard yelling "babe, babe, babe ... baby get out" when loud bangs echo across the street.The three police vehicles had earlier sped past the witnesses, with two reportedly driving in the oncoming lanes to reach the suspect.
"They were taken to hospital suffering non-life-threatening injuries, where they remain under police guard."
