Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says “there will be debate” on whether the censure motion was needed against Scott Morrison.

“I don’t think you would have seen Hawke or Keating or Howard more such a censure motion.”

Scott Morrison has become the first prime minister to be censured in the House over his secret appointment to five ministerial portfolios while in the top job.

The only ones that think it wasn’t needed are people that say it wasn’t illegal so it’s acceptable. It was morally wrong so what does that say about the people that think it wasn’t needed .

The time to move on was 6 months ago

Debate amongst whom precisely. All the necessary debate happened today and 86 parliamentarians condemned Morrison, he was then censured by them, end of debate.

As they say, the standard you walk past is the standard you accept Bloody obvious the censure was necessary

Life in prison seems applicable?!?

Sky still trying to stick up for the party they couldn’t help win.

Like killing someone when they are already dead.

Not really. A clear majority of the country, and parliament, think he was a terrible PM who did some reckless and ridiculous things.

Of course it wasn’t. Nothing illegal was done. End of story.

Will Scott Morrison even care when he is censured? The former prime minister repeatedly demonstrated contempt for the very body that will now censure him: the parliament. mrseankelly Rhetorical! mrseankelly ALBO wants to spend as much of our money on this stupidity as the moon landing is mrseankelly Would anyone care if the Woke SMH went out of business? They actually had Clementine Ford on their books at one stage And other man haters like Baird and Maley have worked for the SMH.
