A 28-year-old man is suffering from serious injuries after a hit and run in Sydney’s west early this morning. Police say the unknown male driver threatened the victim with a tomahawk before driving from the scene. 9News MORE:

Investigators released the vision of the white ute they believe was involved in the alleged crime on Martina Place near Woodstock Avenue in Plumpton on October 27 about 7.40am.

After striking the 28-year-old victim, police said the ute stopped and the male driver threatened the victim with a tomahawk before driving from the scene.Police have described the vehicle they are hoping to find as being a white older model Holden Rodeo. The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment, but has now been released.
