Terrifying CCTV shows the moment a man was chased outside his Melbourne home and shot at in an incident believed to be a case of mistaken identity. The 50-year-old victim walked out of his Altona North house at 7.40pm on October 15, 2023 and as he got to his front gate, a Mitsubishi Pajero four-wheel-drive pulled up.

He then starts running as a man chases after him and fires a shot that hits him in the arm. The gunman then returns to the Pajero and drives away. About an hour later, police found a vehicle, believed to be the same four-wheel-drive, on fire on Gill St in Reservoir.
