A 22-year-old man’s “callous” murder is believed to be the result of an internal conflict in Sydney’s Alameddine organised crime network | fergushunter

A 22-year-old man’s “callous” murder is believed to be the result of an internal conflict in Sydney’s Alameddine organised crime network, in which he had allegedly been acting as a mid-level drug dealer.

Detectives have now released footage of a black Mercedes sedan and a GLA250 station wagon caught on CCTV that day as part of their investigation. The station wagon is depicted in the CCTV footage on Hume Road travelling behind the Kia Sorento later found burnt out and containing the body.“A man dressed in dark clothing and holding what appears to be a yellow-coloured jerry can is then seen to run toward that vehicle, before it leaves the area,” Homicide squad commander, Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty, said on Tuesday.

“For whatever reason, there has been some kind of friction and conflict. That’s escalated and associates or friends from his own group, we believe, and there is a strong suggestion of that, have carried out an incredible, brutal murder,” he said.

He was loudly & widely boo'ed by the Bathurst crowd. Again the boofhead failed to read the room. I don't think, I know. So they should be. Proven liars and incompetents at best, corrupt at worst, they can’t be trusted to take responsibility for the last term. Why would you trust them for the next? Well when you lie constantly can’t organise vaccines and are generally hopeless you become the underdog out of pure fucking incompetence

Without transparency, Facebook Meta's mental health study 'doomed to fail', academics sayA group of international scholars says Meta should release internal research on how the platform impacts youth mental health with current efforts 'doomed to fail'. It still comes across as FB for me. The only change is the meta symbol at the bottom of the page. It looks like a sad ABC logo 😊 I think they should run all their system files through the government to make sure young girls aren’t fat shamed
