Writing proper English: let's call it an act of resistanceRule one: some rules should be broken. An English style guru has some tips for today's writers. Perhaps one could rewrite this article without the ever so faddish political intrusions. I would be lost without my English Oxford Dictionary. Some words are very hard to spell but I think punctuation is more important, a badly punctuated sentence can change the meaning entirely (as proved in some court cases, usual suspects are commas).

I wasn't aware of just how slowly the W Indies were getting through their overs but boy that's shocking. And it IS a tactic. The batting side never gets any sort of momentum and the fast bowlers never get tired so they can go flat out all day.
