The email says the agency is finding that “many landlords are not being provided with the information to make an informed decision” and are being advised to sign long-term leases with rent increase of only $5 to $20 a week.“Our property managers have been reviewing all our lease renewals and on average recommending a 17% rent increase on the leases renewed in October & November this year,” the email says.

“As we are planning December lease renewals, the average lease renewal recommendation is above 20%. As Brisbane leads the nation in rent increases, it might be cheaper to buy — if you can raise a depositThe latest property data from research firm CoreLogic reveals Brisbane has recorded a 3.8 per cent quarterly rise in housing rents, the highest rise of any Australian capital city. Over worked, under paid, no loyalty, no support. Is it law that every article on home ownership must contains this gem? Or we could just add a maximum % a lease can be increased every 6 months, like the ACT do (10%). My last increases were 16% and 22%! Outrageous
