Queensland's south-east is drenched in one of the biggest November downpours in decades as rainfall records tumble and a southern Queensland river is on flood watch.

Brisbane has experienced one of its heaviest November downpours in decades — and there is plenty more on the way for south-east Queensland.

Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Helen Reid said Brisbane had been drenched in 121 millimetres in the past 24 hours. Ms Reid said the wet weather was far from over and rain was expected until the beginning of December. Some rain gauges in central and southern Queensland have already recorded hundreds of millimetres of rain this month, with more expected over coming days.

Like clockwork , 10 years ago it started doing the same thing, it’s like the natural event of La Niña is a cyclic kind of thing. Who knew ?

When you look at the world wide phenomenon of extreme weather extra heavy rain, floods, extreme heat, in the last 12 months; a thoughtful person would say it’s climate change, an unkind but useful idiot would say it’s not climate change.

Wow scientists should look into this..it's like for every degree of warming at least 8% extra moisture is held in the atmosphere and leads to much more powerful weather be it storms or droughts...I am sure it will be all OK when we do nothing, eh scientists...eh?

It's OK... it will never rain again, the dams will never be filled again, we will live in perpetual drought... I SAW THE INTERVIEW!
