Rachel King will make a fairytale return to England 10 years after she vowed not to go home with her tail between her legs.

It will be a case of “get me to the church on time” for Rachel King when she returns home to England next week for her wedding before a trip to Royal Ascot a couple of days later.

“I didn’t want to go home with my tail between my legs, and I learned that if you work hard you get opportunities here,” King said. “It has worked out pretty well. “Mum has got everything in hand for the wedding, which has made it easier for us here,” King said. She will hopefully get over to England with a couple of winners tomorrow as she looks to cap her best season in terms of prizemoney, including a stint in Japan where she rode 17 winners.

Baker has booked King for two-year-old Stardeel, O’Ziggy, Passeggiata, Highlights and Iowna Merc, which runs in the feature Bob Charley Stakes.Racing Photos / Getty Images
