The transport union and NSW government have made a 'breakthrough' in negotiations as Sydney's most disruptive train strike continues today. 9News

The North Shore, Northern and Western Line, Blue Mountains Line, Central Coast Newcastle Line, and all regional lines, except stations south to Melbourne, will be running very few services throughout the day.Thousands of Sydney rail commuters are being impacted by industrial action on major lines today.

Rail, Tram and Bus Union NSW secretary Alex Claassens said there may have been a breakthrough in negotiations.

Pretty sure 90% of the public absolutely despises the rail union. It's as the article says, they are holding the public at ransom for some of the most ridiculous demands
