A young boy has been flown to an Adelaide hospital with serious burns after he was rescued from a car engulfed in flames. 7NEWS

The boy was sitting inside a Holden Commodore sedan parked in a driveway in Galpin St at Whyalla Stuart, in South Australia, about 3.30pm on Wednesday when police believe the vehicle was accidently set alight.He was flown to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A four-year-old boy has been flown to hospital with serious burns from a car fire in a Whyalla Stuart driveway.Police are not treating the fire as suspicious.
