A young Boomers line-up holds off a fast-finishing Lebanon to win the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta, with Thon Maker and Mitch McCarron making the tournament's All-Star Five.

Australia never trailed and held a double-digit advantage for much of the match, but was outscored 30-19 in the last quarter on Sunday.

"It comes down to being able to make shots, make free throws, and they did that better than us in the fourth and we had built up enough interest in the first three quarters to cash that out in the fourth, and we hung tough. Arakji was held to six points in the first half, but scored 15 in the last quarter and finished with 28, hitting five of six three-point attempts.
