The days of fake IDs and begging others to go into bottle shops are gone. Now Aussie teenagers have found a much easier way to buy alcohol.

Now, the rapid expansion in online liquor delivery services is making it easier for children in Australia to get their hands on booze.

• 15 per cent of services did not mention on their website that it is illegal to sell, supply or obtain alcohol on behalf of someone under 18. The authors’ findings informed the drafting of new amendments to tighten controls around same-day alcohol delivery, which came into force in NSW earlier this year.
