Wait, what? Forget the word blokes being highlighted, 'desperately trying' is what should be the stand out ridiculousness in that comment. An inability to control sexual urges is a psych problem isn't it? Weird

Won’t someone please think of the blokes!!

He just keeps digging his hole deeper... highly doubt he’ll be there for too much longer

Speak for yourself big man, I have a mother, sister, wife I get it right all the time 😀

Bloody drongo

How about keeping your hands to yourself.. even at school as kids your taught that ffs !!!

Tell that to your daughters.....

Is this a headline from the 1950s

Get of the blokes mentality PM. Is it difficult to get this correct. What's wrong with these LIBs. Anyone who opens his mouth is completely out of sync with what's happening...

Well that bloke isn’t actually trying at all. More interested in coverups.

Why is it so hard to be a decent human beings? He’s talking like it’s rocket science!

Every time he speaks it just gets worse and worse ...

The fact that he has used ‘blokes’ really emphasises the fact that he doesn’t really know what he is doing on this topic. I like SM as PM, but he is trying to tackle an issue where he is way out of his depth and it is obvious.

He needs to stop talking- there's so many feet in his mouth it's amazing any sound comes out.

Some are getting it right and not trying. Some aren't and also not trying.

'Blokes'

Well stop turning your back in Parliament on women in question time you rude thing

Yeah ..no they’re not

Hahaha tell that to footballers

He conflates his own lack of morals, ethics and empathy with all 'blokes'. He is wrong. Don't drag us all into your filthy nest.

That's bullshit. Society has bred it into them and it will take a complete change of thinking, attitude and behaviour before women are seen as more than sex objects.

Steady up PM, not all blokes turn a blind eye to sexual misconduct like you do. Don't drag us all into your cave.

Smug

Don't get it anywhere near right

It's a embarrassment atm being Australian and this grub is running the country

It’s pretty simple. If we say we don’t want to have sex w/ you, don’t rape us. If we’re unable to give consent (sleeping or inebriated), don’t have sex with us. If we tell you we’re not interested in you, don’t abuse us. If we tell you we’ve been raped, believe us. It’s not hard.

I'm a 60 yr old man and rape or sexual assault or harrassment never entered my mind.

Women never lie and always treat men well. Women are certainly not violent. Elvis is still alive. The moon is made of cheese.

What developed over 40+ years with tolerance by all political sides is not simply fixed based on sudden demand or ultimatum. Emotion creates headlines but has no intellect. Key root issue is women expecting control and power

The blokes in charge know what to do don’t worry your pretty little heads.

Omg! He is walking into his own problems with comments like this!! It’s as bad as the saying “boys will be boys” FFS. Expect more tears soon!! 🤦‍♂️

“Blokes don't get it right all the time, we all know that, but what matters is that we're desperately trying to.” ScoMo trying to find the right hole? Too soon?
