“It is somewhat similar to standard forms of online activism or ‘clicktivism’, where users will mobilise for a political cause [for example, #BlackLivesMatter or #MeToo],” he says. “Except in this case the targets of this mobilisation – ABC journalists such as Karvelas – perceive it as trolling and/or abuse.

And why would they target CERTAIN abc journalists?
And it's not a phenomenon confined to the ABC, has been demonstrating it's pro-LNP bias in so many articles recently.

Considering the bias in media in Australia to the right.l think a lot of people expect ABC to be neutral and to then have to watch a right wing bias people find that hard to have to deal with and justifiable so.
