A dangerous equality bill set for a state parliament vote must be stopped as it could force religious schools to employ teachers who oppose the core beliefs the institutions are founded upon.

Beware of NSW 's ' believer bashing ' bill that is a full-frontal attack on schools' religious freedom and a parent's right to decide how to raise their child. A dangerous equality bill set for a state parliament vote must be stopped as it could force religious schools to employ teachers who oppose the core beliefs the institutions are founded upon, writes Kel Richards.

On Thursday the New South Wales Parliament will vote on a piece of legislation that is a full-frontal attack on Christians, Muslims, Jews, parents and women. It’s a private member’s bill cooked by Independent MP Alex Greenwich, called the Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill. This bill attacks Christians, Muslims and Jews by making it illegal for them to run an institution (school, hospital, aged care facility) that is based on being Christian (or Muslim or Jewish). As grandparents we are paying the school fees for our two youngest grandchildren to be educated in a Christian school with a Christian ethos - which is what our daughter and son-in-law want
