NSW Nationals leader John Barilaro will seek urgent talks with the Premier over tensions within the Coalition. The deputy premier's speech was designed to be a warning to his Liberal colleagues that his party no longer wanted people in the regions to be treated as an after-thought.

But Mr Barilaro's words have angered several Liberal MPs, who said they intended to confront Mr Barilaro on his return to Sydney.
