Jake Averillo has been stood down by the NRL_Bulldogs after becoming inadvertently caught up in the COVID-19 cluster at the Crossroads Hotel in Casula.

Averillo, who still lives in the family home, told the Bulldogs that his parents had a meal there on July 3 and will be tested for the virus.to announce he would be going into isolation and be unable to train or play until Sunday. His parents will be tested again on Sunday to ensure they have a clean bill of health but Jake will be unable to train or play with the team until that date.

Averillo, who made his Telstra Premiership debut in round two just before the competition went into a two-month hiatus because of the pandemic, did not play last Saturday in the loss to Brisbane. Due to the outbreak at the Crossroads Hotel in Casula, in south-west Sydney, NSW Health has advised anyone who visited the pub between July 3 and 10 to self-isolate and get tested.

Bulldogs forward Aiden Tolman missed two matches last month after one of his children attended a school which had a staff member that tested positive.

Campaign to derail COVID-19 vaccine before it even existsDedicated anti-vaccination activists have begun their social media campaign to sow doubt and fear about a coronavirus immunisation, even though one doesn’t yet exist. Put em all in a room and give them the virus. See if that changes their tune. Worse case, the collective average IQ increases if they don't make it. Yeah, we're good thanks! Stick your toxic vaccines. Why would anyone young and healthy allow you to stick them with your poisonous shit?!? I suggest that you research ID2020 before posting this crap.

Sydney pub worker tests positive for COVID-19, as NSW introduces $3,000 hotel quarantine feeA staff member at the Crossroads Hotel in south-west Sydney tests positive for COVID-19, while travellers returning to New South Wales will have to pay $3,000 for their fortnight stay in hotel quarantine from next week. 3000 per person. Wow. Good luck bringin ya expat family home now. So if someone flies out of Australia due to an emergency and return a month later, will they also need to pay $3000 or is it just for citizens and residents who are planning to return to Oz since the pandemic started Need some clarity pls I was surprised how many ppl are still travelling during a pandemic. Of course they should pay their hotel quarantine fee. If ppl at the start self isolated we would not need guarded quarantine.
