Renewed push for pill testing after teen girl dies at music festival | Sky News AustraliaThe woman who died from a suspected drug overdose at a Sydney music festival at the weekend has been identified as 19-year-old Alex Ross-King. \n\nMs Ross-King was at FOMO music festival in Parramatta, Sydney’s west on Saturday, when she was rushed to Westmead Hospital and later died. \n\nThe teenager’s family is now calling on the New South Wales government to consider pill testing at music festivals. \n\nPremier Gladys Berejiklian has not supported the move however, saying ‘I worry pill testing could have the opposite effect’ and ‘we need to keep sending out the strongest message that taking these illicit drugs kills’. \n\n\n\n\n\n I've got a bizarre, simpler, more cost effective solution. Just make the drugs legal so the entire supply chain will be run by corporate citizens vested in the success of society, instead of criminal gangs vested in the destruction of society. Forget the testing and start arresting some of these drug user and pushes. Can someone please explain what pill testing is and how it would work at a music festival?
