Australian wildcard Alexei Popyrin is through to the third round after an epic five set match against eighth seeded American Taylor Fritz

Australian Alex de Minaur is tied with Adrian Mannarino in the middle of the first set.

The US player defeated Zverev after four sets, despite the German taking the first set on a tie-break. “You guys were just incredible, oh my god,” the Australian wildcard told the crowd after the sensational match.Aussie wildcard Alexei Popyrin thanked the crowd after emotional victory.Popyrin said he had a difficult year in tennis last year, making this win even more significant.

He went on to clinch the decisive break soon after with a superb drop shot - in contrast to the ball-mashing that got him to that point - and Fritz could not chase it down.
