CEO and Founder of Ellume Dr Sean Parsons has discussed with Sky News the difference between the traditional PCR tests used currently by the Australian government to test for COVID-19 and his company's DIY test which is popular in the US. Australian Biotech company Ellume has recently signed a deal with the United States for it's antigen test which has proven to be 96 per cent accurate.

Before the pandemic Mr Parsons said his company was working on a home flu test but in the last year had turned its attention to making world leading diagnostics for the coronavirus. He said the demand for home-based tests was much greater in the United States because laboratory infrastructure wasn’t designed to cope with the sheer number of tests coming in. “That rapid, at home, simple to use diagnostics is a key piece of recovering from the pandemic in America," he said.

I like the idea of home test kits, it will send MSM nuts. They won't have the numbers for positive cases to publish every day. 🤪
