Australian Catholic University to open new 'pop up' campus in western Sydney | pallavisinghal_

The Australian Catholic University will build a new campus in Blacktown after the council offered part of a new high-rise building, sports facilities and local business partnerships to any institution that would commit to opening a full campus in the next four years in western Sydney.

“ACU had proven it was capable of responding to the needs of a growing and diverse population. ACU was also willing to make a considerable capital investment in the construction of the campus." The university said it has a significant student cohort from Blacktown, with about 17 per cent of students at its Sydney campuses travelling from the local government area.
