This is all very well in theory, but how many returning or visiting Aussies actually have a home to quarantine in? And staying with family would be contraindicated. What we are seeing now are Aussies migrating back, so not yet established, or those visiting family.

Because we definitely didn't just have a couple travel across states while infectious because why not.
Those efficacy figures she's quoting were for older strains. Pfizer is far less affective on Delta which is becoming the dominant strain. Home Quarantine? Only if they wear monitoring bracelets so they can't leave their property. Honour system was tried here last year and failed.
Can we trust them to stay in isolation? What about the people they live with? Can we risk all we have endured already and what we have achieved?
Why quarantine if they are vaccinated?
