La Nina has returned for a third time in three years, as forecasters predict rain for the rest of the year. vella_lara 9News DETAILS:

A third La Nina event is forecast for spring and summer this year. The BoM said a negative Indian Ocean Dipole is continuing which means Australia's temperatures are cooler-than-average.

"When a La Niña and negative IOD combine, it further increases the likelihood of above-average rainfall over Australia, particularly in the eastern half of the continent."A man and child walk along Circular Quay shielding themselves from the rain with their umbrella. vella_lara Sure it has 🤦‍♂️

vella_lara Now it's simply another year of La Nina rather than catastrophic climate change. Wondering what's changed in the medias perspective

9NewsAUS vella_lara Pro tip: If you hold your finger down on the N key, you can do one with a tilde.

vella_lara La Niñas last a cycle of 4 years, we’re currently in year 1, but don’t worry it’s apparently climate change, no mention of the droughts that we went through for 20 years though.
