This was always the end game want to breakup the postal services & eventually privatized it all. Make big profits for their pockets. First step is to make letters look unprofitable. How? Run down the service & prioritize parcels & backlog letters

A Private Post box rental cost on average 3$ a letter.

Board should be cutting down own wages to make it sustainable

If they concentrated less onBanking, overseas Cash Money Transfers, Passports,Bills & flogging latest crp advertised onTV they might be better off. Legal Govt Agency should handle passports etc that require formal identification.Too many fake name changes & dubious cash transfers

Sacked the wrong CEO!

It was always in the plan. Don't hear them complaining about the super profits on the parcel side.

Increase the price for sending a letter. Done. Thanks for coming.

Took longer for a small parcel to travel across two states than it did getting a similar parcel from China. No wonder people have had a gutful of express post

Past and present, CEOs pay ?

It’s a public service. It’s supposed to run at a loss, like public transport.

They do already

Like the ABC, Australia Post is another government organisation made redundant by the digital age. Sell it and give the proceeds to the franchise shop owners. It’s over and they deserve a break.

The only letters you get in the mail are bills or someone from the government trying to take more money from you. You never get good letters anymore.

They charge too much

It’s a government service that we pay for with our taxes. It’s not supposed to make money!!

Daily letter deliveries in the firing line as part of new Australia Post reviewAustralia Post's weekday letter-delivery obligations are 'no longer financially sustainable' and need to be reviewed, according to a new consultation paper released as part of a federal government review of the postal service. Daily Garbage the female CEO the government sacked saw a positive future for Australia Post. I believe the public are being softened up so the government can sell off Australia Post. How can it be running at a loss this has to be incompetent management. I thought that was already done years ago

Investor dissent predicted to escalate as Australia's biggest emitters accused of failing on climateClimate action groups are warning some of the nation's biggest emitters face growing increasingly isolated from shareholders and industry groups if they do not act to reduce their carbon output. Why, it won't help 1 little bit. For me the problem is deforestation, not climate change. Not even the Greens care about deforestation, which is ironic. I invest in anti-ESG investments like - Strive Asset Management’s US Energy ETF (DRLL). These funds use there shareholder votes to fight against the political left ideology of ESG.
