Scotland forced to reimpose coronavirus restrictions | Sky News AustraliaThe city of Aberdeen in Scotland has been placed under additional lockdown measures following a rise in the number of coronavirus infections. \n\nFirst Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon announced city residents would not be allowed to make house visits and all indoor and outdoor hospitality venues would be subject to a 5pm curfew. \n\n“The last thing we want to do is reimpose these kinds of restrictions but this outbreak reminds us how highly infectious COVID-19 is,” she said. \n\nMs Sturgeon said the measures were necessary if it meant children were allowed to go back to school in September. \n\nThe United Kingdom Labor Leader said getting children back into schools should be a priority however warned time was running out for the coronavirus situation to be brought under control. \n\nImage: Getty
