Two English batters hit centuries, with Lauren Winfield-Hill notching up 106 and number eight Paige Scholfield 102. The only positive for Australia was 4-69 for Kim Garth, who now appears certain to make her Test debut for Australia on Thursday at Nottingham after moving from Ireland. "It was a tough day out there, but I think there are a lot of positives to come out of it though," Garth said afterwards.

"We regrouped as a bowling unit yesterday and spoke about the lengths we wanted to bowl today and we did that.
