Sky News host Paul Murray says given “we’ve been running one hell of a marathon here in Australia when it comes to spirit and determination,” there are many strong Australians doing their bit to help the most vulnerable.

Mr Murray pointed to businesses who have taken the opportunity to use their resources to help in the fight against coronavirus like Erebus Motorsport. “They have transitioned from racing to try and use some of their engineering smarts to come up with things that can help healthcare workers”. Paul Murray just goes with flow and that's fine he's an employee. But this virus reaction is one big hoax and he knows it.

I couldn't be prouder to be an Australian. It's amazing the sheer generosity that we've seen from droves donating their hard earned to the various bushfire appeals, and those now heeding the call to FlattenTheCurve of Covid_19 for the health of the vulnerable.

Coronavirus ‘has a passport’ which Australia ‘let in through air and sea’ | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Sharri Markson says as an Island nation the Australian borders could have closed earlier than were done which would have in turn “saved many lives”. \n\nThe Australian COVID-19 death toll has risen to 16 after deaths in Queensland and Victoria overnight, while the number of infections continues to rise across all states.\n\n“So, there may be early signs of improvement, but we are still at the moment on the path of all European countries who are facing a dire situation,” Ms Markson said.\n\n“The question now needs to be asked, why did our governments, state and federal, let infected people into our country via planes and cruise ships?” she said. \n\nMs Markson said that while people may argue “the virus does not have a passport,” she proposed that “actually it does” in the form of people who travel via air and sea into Australia. \n\n“The overall question is, why did we choose to allow this virus to enter Australia so easily?” Ms Markson said. \n\n“We are an island nation. We don't have porous borders like Europe. We could have closed our borders earlier than we have done, before community transmission was rife … this would have saved many lives”. \n\nImage: Getty If only we hadn't listened to the commentators who said it was exaggerated! What about Australians returning and refusing to self isolate? Sone are escaping mandatory quarantine in hotels today. Because so called experts ignored previous history of how virus spread. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand this. Greed over health has screwed the economy too.

‘The buck stops with the Premier’: NSW Opposition Leader | Sky News AustraliaNSW Opposition Leader Jodie McKay says she hopes Premier Gladys Berejiklian “would go it alone” on Sunday night and enforce a state-wide lock-down to curb the spread of coronavirus.\n\nBoth the NSW and Victorian governments have flagged the possibility of instituting further lockdowns before the federal government does, but have so-far failed to go down this route.\n\nMs McKay said she believed the premier was “headed there two weeks ago” and continues to offer her support if Ms Berejiklian did decide to break from the National Cabinet and enforce a lockdown.\n\n“I believe it needs to be short, it needs to be hard, and it needs to be fast”.\n\nSpeaking about the Ruby Princess debacle, the opposition leader said “the buck stops with the premier on this” as there have already been 150 reported cases of coronavirus from the 2,700 passengers aboard the ship.\n\nMs McKay told Sky News host Sharri Markson the handling of the cruise ship crisis took it from “a Sydney issue to a NSW issue”.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia JodiMcKayMP GladysB NSW CCP Stooges! NSW, Victoria could shutdown shopping centres tonight | Sky News AustraliaShopping centres across New South Wales and Victoria could be shutdown as early as Sunday evening, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. \n\nIt’s understood the two states will push for the move at Sunday’s national cabinet meeting. \n\nSupermarkets, butchers, bottle shops, petrol stations and convenience stores will remain open under the new plan. \n\nBut Mr Clennell said it’s unlikely the measures will be branded as a further “shutdown” or “lockdown” as the state and federal government’s look to move away from that language. \n\n“The language around these when they happen, as I understand it, will be about more restrictions. They’re going to stop calling them lockdowns or shutdowns because of what that does in our community,” he said. \n\nHe also said that the federal and state leaders are in lockstep on what industries they would like to remain open - construction, mining, manufacturing, banking, and energy - but at contention is the timing of when to move into further restrictions. Should have shut weeks ago People do not conform or care Selfish And then they will head to bunnings. bunnings 🤦‍♂️ Should of shut long before
