Australia and New Zealand sending flights to assess damage from Tonga volcano eruption

An Australian surveillance flight was due to leave Queensland's Amberley Air Base at 2am on Monday, but will now be delayed until the ash cloud caused by the eruption subsides.Australia's Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Zed Seselja, said Tonga's contact with the rest of the world had been disrupted by damage to an undersea cable."It's the international communications through the cable that was affected that is causing some difficulties.
